Hi Lykkers! I swear slime serums used to look so weird to me. Every time I saw people stretching skincare between their fingers online, I kept thinking, “there is no way I’m putting that on my face.”
But somehow curiosity won, and now? These products completely changed how hydrated and healthy my skin looks.
What surprised me most is that each serum gives a very different result. Some focus more on repairing the skin barrier, others make the skin look extra plump and glossy, while some are better for calming stressed skin. After testing the viral ones everyone talks about, here are my personal ratings and why they earned them.

1. Anua Rice 7+ Ceramide Hydrating Barrier Serum — 10/10

This serum made my skin look so healthy that I genuinely started using less makeup. The glow it gives isn’t the oily or shiny type either. It’s more like that smooth “well-rested expensive skincare” glow that makes your face look fresh all day.
Every time my skin barrier feels irritated, dehydrated, or just tired in general, this serum somehow brings it back to life again. I also love how comfortable it feels despite the thicker texture. It wraps around the skin in a really nourishing way without turning sticky or heavy afterward.

2. Mixsoon Bean Essence — 9/10

This one took me by surprise because I wasn’t expecting to enjoy it as much as I did. The texture definitely feels unique at first. It’s thicker and more slippery compared to regular essences, so the first few applications honestly felt a little strange. But once I figured out how to use it properly, my skin started looking unbelievably smooth.
The only reason I didn’t give it a full 10 is because I think the texture can be a little intimidating at first. Some people will instantly love it, but personally it took me a little time before I became fully obsessed with it.

3. COSRX Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence — 8/10

This product honestly feels like the blueprint of viral slime skincare. COSRX Snail Mucin has been everywhere for years, and I completely understand why people continue loving it. Whenever my face feels irritated or over-exfoliated, this is the type of serum I naturally reach for because it gives immediate hydration without feeling heavy.
It hydrated my skin nicely and helped with recovery, but I didn’t get the same “wow my skin looks incredible” feeling that the other two gave me.
Without question, Anua Rice 7+ Ceramide Hydrating Barrier Serum became my top pick. My skin simply looks its healthiest whenever this is in my routine.
Mixsoon Bean Essence comes second because of how soft, plump, and smooth it makes my skin feel overnight. And COSRX Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence stays as that dependable comfort serum I know I can always use when my skin needs calming hydration.
