Lip Mood Changers

· Fashion Team
Welcome Lykkers! I used to underestimate lip balm so much. It was just “something for dry lips” in my head. But after getting into Korean lip balms, I realized they’re basically tiny mood changers.
One swipe can make your face look fresher, softer, and more awake without even touching foundation.
What I like about these two is that they don’t feel like simple lip care anymore. They sit right between skincare and makeup, and depending on which one I use, my whole vibe changes a little.
1. Peripera Ink Mood Glowy Balm — Shade 02
This one is what I call my “no effort but still cute” lip. The color is a soft pink that doesn’t try too hard. It’s not loud, not dramatic, just that natural flush that makes your lips look like they’re already healthy on their own. I reach for it a lot on days when I don’t want to think about makeup but still want to look a bit more alive.
Texture-wise, it feels smooth the moment it goes on, almost like it melts into the lips instead of sitting on top. There’s a soft glossy layer that shows up right away, but it doesn’t feel sticky or heavy, which makes it easy to forget you’re even wearing it. What I also noticed is how it fades in a really forgiving way. Even after hours, it doesn’t completely disappear in a harsh way — it leaves a soft tint behind that still looks decent.
2. Rom&nd The Glasting Melting Balm Tint — Shade 07 Mauve
This one has a completely different energy. The mauve tone immediately feels more styled and intentional. It’s not the typical bright or playful pink — it leans cooler, slightly muted, and gives that quiet “I know what I’m doing” kind of look. When I apply it, the first thing I notice is the shine. It’s glossy, but in a smoother, more refined way. Not glassy in an over-the-top way, more like naturally moisturized lips that just happen to look expensive.
The texture is where it really stands out for me. It melts quickly and spreads evenly, almost like it blends into the lips instead of sitting on them. That’s why it gives that fuller lip effect without needing lip liner or extra layering. I usually pick this when I want my makeup to feel slightly more elevated — dinner, going out, or even just days when I want a more polished look without doing much.
Some days I just want something easy, quick, and soft, so Peripera wins without question. Other days I want a slightly cooler, more put-together vibe, and that’s when Rom&nd takes over. They don’t compete in my routine — they just match different versions of me.
