All things are spiritual and beautiful. In the eyes of the Creator, different species embody their unique survival philosophies.
However, among all animals, dogs and cats are the most favored by humans. The intelligence and temperament of these two animals are closest to humans.
Cats, in particular, seem to know how to obtain happiness inherently. While we cannot entirely mimic the leisurely and contented nature of cats, we can glean some life wisdom from their seven philosophies.

Philosophy 1: Appearance and Identity Positioning

The first philosophy of cats lies in their appearance, which combines cuteness and sexiness. Is appearance a philosophy?
Absolutely! Image is an integral part of one's identity, and this holds for cats as well. Cats are like living works of art, with every movement conveying grace, lightness, fluidity, sharpness, and mystery.
Many fields related to beauty draw inspiration from cats: fashion models strut with a cat-like elegance and nobility, and literature often features cats with significant symbolic meaning or artistic rendering.

Philosophy 2: Embracing Laziness

Cats sleep an average of 16 hours a day and are always adept at finding the most comfortable spot to curl up and nap. In summer, they seek out ventilated, shady places; in winter, they cozy up by the stove or in your lap.
Outdoors, they lazily bask in the golden sunshine, shifting as the sun moves. When we see a cat, it is often in a deep sleep, undisturbed by the outside world. Despite having a lifespan of just over a decade, cats never worry about spending two-thirds of their time sleeping.
They will never suffer from insomnia. Cats accept and enjoy their sleepiness infinitely, never belittling themselves for it. To them, time is meant to be "wasted" on sleeping.

Philosophy 3: Embracing Curiosity

Cats are highly focused, both in sleep and wakefulness. When they are asleep, they are not easily disturbed; once they are awake, they pursue every butterfly, ball, thread, or dust particle with relentless curiosity.
This curiosity drives them to explore new things constantly. Although this sometimes leads them into trouble, they are never afraid of failure and continue to explore bravely. Their curiosity teaches us to approach life with a sense of wonder and an eagerness to learn, despite the risks or potential pitfalls.

Philosophy 4: Valuing Independence

Cats are solitary animals by nature. Loneliness is something that many animals, including humans, cannot stand. However, cats coexist peacefully with loneliness and even relish their own time and space.
For cats, happiness alone can be just as fulfilling as happiness with others. Born egoists, cats never rely entirely on others. Even if they live with you day and night, they regard you as a good friend rather than a caretaker. Their independence is a powerful lesson in self-reliance and finding contentment within oneself.

Philosophy 5: Balancing Softness and Coquetry

Despite their independent and sometimes aloof nature, cats possess the ability to be irresistibly soft and coquettish. With flexible limbs, they move like natural dancers and yogis.
Cats are skilled at expressing their needs and dependence, often curling up with you, their warm, soft bodies providing comfort and seeking it in return.
This occasional dependence and pampering make people willingly satisfy them and feel the peace and comfort they bring. Their balance of independence and affection teaches us the value of both self-sufficiency and the joy of connection.

Philosophy 6: Living in the Present

Cats always adhere to the principle of "living in the present." They are not burdened by memories or overwhelmed by future expectations. Whether walking on expensive carpets or scavenging near a trash can, cats accept life "here and now" with calmness and grace.
They do not dwell on the past or fear the future, finding happiness in the present moment. This ability to live in the present teaches us the importance of mindfulness and embracing the here and now.

Philosophy 7: Embracing Contradiction and Complexity

The final philosophy of cats is their embodiment of contradiction and complexity. Cats are not creatures that can be easily understood at a glance. They can be noble yet lingering, naive yet cruel, lazy yet agile.
Cats do not pledge loyalty to any person or value, instead pursuing comfort, fun, and enjoyment. They are adept at simplifying their lives, focusing only on the things that truly interest them. This embrace of complexity and contradiction encourages us to accept the multifaceted nature of life and ourselves.
Through the seven philosophies of cats, we can learn how to enjoy every moment of life, find tranquility amidst busyness, and rediscover ourselves in solitude.
Let us find healing in the soft purrs of cats and reconnect with the beauty and balance of life. Embracing these feline philosophies can lead us to a more fulfilling and harmonious existence.
