Lipsticks That Cheer Me Up

· Fashion Team
Lykkers, I swear pink lipstick has its own personality depending on the shade. Some pinks feel soft and effortless, while others suddenly make the whole makeup look feel brighter and more playful within seconds.
The right pink can make the face look fresher, more awake, and honestly a little happier too. These two lipsticks have been living in my makeup pouch recently, and even though they’re both pink, they create completely different moods.
1. Glossier Ultra Lip – Lucite
Glossier Ultralip in Lucite feels like the easiest pink lipstick imaginable. The color is soft, sheer, and slightly glossy, almost like your natural lip color but smoother and fresher. It gives that effortless “clean girl” makeup feeling without trying too hard. Whenever I wear this shade, my makeup instantly looks lighter and more relaxed.
What I enjoy most is the texture. It feels more like a nourishing balm than a traditional lipstick, which makes it perfect for days when my lips feel dry but I still want some color. I can apply it quickly without even using a mirror and somehow it still looks good.
Lucite reminds me of slow mornings, minimal makeup, oversized shirts, and coffee runs where you still want to look put together without looking overly done. This is the lipstick I grab when I want comfort first and color second.
2. YSL Love Shine – Electric Pink
YSL Love Shine Lipstick in Electric Pink has a completely different energy. This shade feels brighter, bolder, and much more playful the second it touches the lips. The glossy finish catches light beautifully, making the lips look fuller and more vibrant without feeling sticky or heavy.
Whenever I wear this lipstick, it instantly becomes the center of my makeup look. Even with simple skin makeup and mascara, the bright pink somehow makes everything feel more alive.
I also love how smooth the formula feels. It glides on so easily that applying it almost feels satisfying on its own. And unlike some bright pink lipsticks that can feel intimidating, this one still looks wearable because of the shiny finish. To me, Electric Pink feels like weekend plans, confidence, loud laughter, and city lights reflecting on windows at night.
Some lipsticks feel practical, but certain pink shades feel emotional somehow. They can make tired faces look brighter, simple outfits feel prettier, and regular days feel slightly less boring. Right now, I think I’m somewhere between soft glossy pinks and brighter statement shades — depending entirely on who I want to be that day.
