Two Blushes Two Moods

Welcome Readers! Blush is probably the one makeup product that changes my whole face the fastest. I can skip eyeshadow, skip lipstick, sometimes even skip foundation — but the moment I add blush, suddenly I look awake again.
Lately, I’ve been switching between two blushes that give completely different moods. One gives that fresh, glowing “just came back from a happy day outside” look, while the other feels softer and sweeter in a more everyday kind of way. And honestly, I didn’t expect to love both this much.

1. Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush – Happy

Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush in the shade Happy is one of those blushes that looks intimidating at first… until you actually try it. The color is a bright cool pink, and when I first opened it, I genuinely thought it might be too much. But once blended out, it gives the prettiest fresh-flushed effect. It makes the cheeks look naturally lively, almost like the kind of pink you get after laughing too hard or walking outside in cool weather.
What surprised me most is how little product you actually need. One tiny dot is already enough for both cheeks. The formula blends quickly, melts beautifully into the skin, and leaves this soft healthy glow instead of looking patchy or heavy. I usually wear this when I want my makeup to feel youthful and energetic. Even on tired days, this blush somehow tricks my face into looking more awake.

2. Wet n Wild Blush – Pitch Me Pink

Wet n Wild Color Icon Blush in Pitch Me Pink gives a much calmer and softer vibe. Compared to the Rare Beauty blush, this one feels more understated and easygoing. The pink tone is wearable in a very effortless way — not too bright, not too dramatic, just enough color to warm up the face naturally. I especially like this blush for casual makeup days because it’s easy to build without worrying about overdoing it. Some mornings I apply it quickly without even thinking too much, and somehow it still works with everything.
The finish also looks smooth on the skin instead of powdery, which I really appreciate because overly dry-looking blush can make makeup feel older instantly. This is the kind of blush I’d throw into my bag for everyday touch-ups without hesitation.
Rare Beauty Happy feels vibrant, fresh, and expressive. Pitch Me Pink feels relaxed, natural, and easy to wear anytime. And honestly, having both means I never get bored with my makeup routine.
