Lately I’ve been completely obsessed with red lipsticks. There’s just something about a good red lip that instantly makes makeup look more confident and put together, even when the rest of the makeup is super simple.

Okay… this lipstick is RED red. Like the kind of red that immediately becomes the center of attention. The pigment is honestly insane, and one swipe already gives full color payoff. And honestly, when you know it’s a shade loved by Jennie… suddenly I feel influenced immediately. The packaging also deserves attention because it feels so sleek and luxurious in the hand.

2. Bobbi Brown Red Lipstick

This lipstick completely surprised me because I honestly never paid much attention to it before. Then I randomly saw it on sale at Sephora, swatched it once, and immediately understood everything. The shade is such a pretty soft red that feels way easier to wear compared to intense bright reds.

It gives that elegant effortless vibe instead of looking too dramatic, which makes it perfect for daily makeup too. The formula feels smooth, comfortable, and flattering without making the lips feel dry later. Safe to say I became obsessed very quickly.

Red lipsticks don’t feel intimidating to me anymore. I’ve realized there are so many different kinds of reds — bold reds, soft reds, blurred reds — and finding the right one honestly changes everything. These two have been my current favorites, and now I fully understand why people say a red lip can completely transform your mood.
