Tinted lip balms are probably one of my favorite “in-between” products. Not quite lipstick, not just basic care—they sit somewhere in the middle where things feel easy but still a bit put together.
On days when I don’t feel like doing much, these are usually the only thing I reach for.

1. Vaseline Rosy Tinted Lip Balm

Vaseline Rosy Tinted Lip Balm feels nostalgic in a way. It’s simple, familiar, and does exactly what you expect without trying too hard. The texture is slightly thicker, almost like a protective layer that stays on for a while. The tint is soft—not something that changes your whole look, but enough to give your lips a healthier, more alive appearance. I like using this when my lips feel dry and I just want something comforting that also adds a hint of color.

2. Laneige Lip Glowy Balm

Laneige Lip Glowy Balm feels a bit more polished. The texture is smoother and lighter compared to Vaseline, and it glides on easily without feeling heavy. What I notice most is the shine—it gives that glossy, hydrated look without being sticky. The tint is still subtle, but paired with the shine, it feels a little more put together. I usually reach for this when I want something quick but still slightly elevated.
Both have their place. Vaseline feels more comforting and protective, something I use when my lips need a bit more care. Laneige leans lighter and shinier, perfect for that effortless, everyday glow. I’ve realized tinted lip balm isn’t about making a statement—it’s about those small touches that make you feel just a little more ready to step out.
