1. Blue Gourami (Trichogaster trichopterus): The Three Spot Gourami, or Blue Mosaic Gourami, belongs to the Anabantidae family. It has labyrinth organs, allowing it to breathe air directly. They can survive out of water if their bodies remain moist. They exhibit a good tolerance for lower temperatures, with the optimal range being 22–28°C, and they can endure as low as 14°C for an extended period.

2. Peacock Cichlid (Aulonocara): These cichlids, native to rivers and streams, are known for their beautiful peacock-like tails. They come in various vibrant colors, creating a visually stunning display in the aquarium. One remarkable trait is their prolific breeding; they are often called the "million fish" due to their rapid reproduction. They mature in 3-5 months and can reproduce monthly, potentially leading to overcrowding in the tank.

3. Poecilia sphenops: Also known as Mollies, they are hardy and adaptable aquarium fish. They can tolerate temperatures around ten °C but may become prone to diseases or death if exposed to prolonged low temperatures. Mollies are livebearers, and their gentle nature makes them suitable for community tanks. They feed on algae and can be supplemented with crushed plant material. Regular water changes and the use of a breeding box are recommended.

4. Zebrafish (Danio rerio): A common and inexpensive small-sized fish from South Asian countries. Zebrafish are lively and not sensitive to colder temperatures, surviving in water as cool as 11–15°C. Due to their hardiness, they are often used as "starter fish" to test aquarium conditions. Various color variations of zebrafish are now available in the market.
